Dr. Cheryl Lane holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Clemson University and brings over three decades of expertise in education and environmental stewardship. As an Assistant Professor at Francis Marion University, Dr. Lane has established herself as a leader in conservation advocacy, earning a prestigious three-year Conventional to Organic Farming Grant from the Natural Resources and Conservation Agency. Her scholarly work focuses on place-based education and sustainable agricultural practices, with extensive research on historical preservation and community development.
